OMFG First real trailerish thing for DH2!! :)
So we saw this on MuggleNet and being the kind and caring people that we are, we are giving you nice people a link to the trailerish thing. I say this because the shots are all things that we have seen before but, now they have been arranged in a trailerish sort of way. In it the cast and crew talk about the build up of the end of the series and how its going to be the most awesome movie ever. All around can’t wait to see it and Tyrell and I are going to be getting are tickets as soon as humanly possible for the midnight release.
‘Prisoner of Azkaban’ honored as the Film of the Decade
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban has been named film of the decade at the First Light Awards.
The award is voted for by the public in association with the Bafta Kids’ Vote, and is chosen by children aged five to 15.
“We made the film for children of all ages from to 105 really, but clearly a core part of our audience is young people and to be honoured is a privilege,” said producer David Heyman.
Heyman accepted the award from Clemence Poesy, the actress who has played Fleur Delacour in several Potter films.
Prisoner of Azkaban was up against Shrek, Whale Rider, Happy Feet and Up.
Happy Birthday Remus J. Lupin
Please join us at The Potter Plotters in wishing this werewolf a very happy day! Many happy returns, Moony!

In a new article in USA Today, Ralph Fiennes (Voldemort) talks about his character in the Harry Potter films: “He’s really sort of the devil…” and “He’s completely emotionally detached. He has no empathy. You find that in psychopaths.”
You can also see what other cast members say about Ralph Fiennes portrayal of Lord Voldemort.

News of The Week
Dan Radcliffe thinks he’s really Harry Potter?
FunnyorDie recently put together a skit with Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe. In it, Dan seems to be convinced that he’s actually not Dan. Rather, he’s Harry Potter and he plays a character named Dan Radcliffe. It seems Dan’s time as Harry Potter has really gone to his head.
MTV weighs in on Moviefone’s Potter vs. Twilight debate
Last week, MuggleNet’s Andrew Sims debated Potter vs. Twilight with Twilight Lexicon’s Laura Byrne-Christiano on a segment taped for AOL Moviefone. Twilight was voted the winner and that didn’t sit well with MTV’s Terri Schwartz. She weighs in as to why Potter cannot be knocked from its pedestal by teenage vampires and werewolves. Terri responds to each question in the debate, including comparing the two fandoms, discussing the book-to-screen adaptations, and as far as standing the test of time? Well, she says, Potter’s got a theme park!
Jason Isaacs talks about putting together his Lucius Malfoy character
In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actor who plays Lucius Malfoy talks about how he prepared for his first film as the evil character:
Here is a sample of the interview on Malfoy’s appearance. “I went to the set, and they had this idea of me wearing a pinstripe suit, short black-and-white hair,” Isaacs recalls. “I was slightly horrified. He was a racist, a eugenicist. There’s no way he would cut his hair like a Muggle, or dress like a Muggle.” So Isaacs suggested instead that he wear a long white wig, and a particularly ostentatious wizard-like ensemble. “In order to keep the hair straight, I had to tip my head back, so I was looking down my nose at everyone. There was 50 percent of the character.”
Well thats all the news for today Potter fans enjoy!
New Robes?
Its been awhile since I posted last so I thought why not! Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I just came out! I made some changes here… nothing new. I like new ideas and why not host them here. I am taking a little bit of a break with writing the Teddy Lupin Trilogy so I can focus on other things. A.J. and I are starting the podcast back up again name The Potter Plotters Show. It will be airing in Decemeber most likely. I re-created the website and fixed a lot of things.
A.J. has taken over the news section of the website. Now large events in the Harry Potter community will be posted here for anyone who wants to check them out. I will continue to post these blogs for updates on whats going on in the future. Last, I’d like to touch on Deathly Hallows being released. A.J. and I are going to be putting our review here on the website so keep your eyes peeled for that. I hope everyone is have a magical month!
